No matter how bleak the daythe faeries still come out to play
and if I walk amongst bleak winter skies
their light and love brings no lies
and if for a moment I stand still and feel
the wintry sun, cannot reveal
a faery world where light is life,
where there is but faery strife
what hat to wear, what hood to hoard
what coins to toss onto the board..
and when the game of life is done
we all come back to where they cam from
The wintry skies are full of light
Soft shushing wings now take flight
and faeries all will heed the call
of those who run of those who crawl...of those who flower and those who walk...of those who cower and those who talk.
And sister faeries know the call
that comes from hut and comes from hall
they know to see with joy the rising sun begin
a day of light - a day without sin
"The Sun Is A Very Magic (Merry)Fellow
The sun is a very magic fellow
He shines down on me each day.
The sun is a very magic fellow
He shines down on me each day
He shines down on me each day.
The wind is a very fickle fellow
He blows all my dreams away-ay-ay-ay.
The wind is a very fickle fellow,
Blowing all my dreams away
Blowing all my dreams away.
The rain is a very sad lady,
She falls down on me sometimes.
The rain is a very sad lady,
She falls down on me sometimes,
Falling down on me sometimes.
The sea is a very, very old man,
Deeper than the deepest blue.
The sea is a very, very old man,
Deeper than the deepest blue,
Deeper than the deepest blue.
The moon is a typical lady,
I watch her wax and wane.
The moon is a typical lady,
I watch her wax and wane,
I watch her wax and
wane.
A star is so very far away, love,
Just between you and me.
A star is so very far away, love,
Just between you and me,
Just between you and me.
A song is a pillow for my sadness,
She sings all my cares away.
A song is a pillow for my sadness,
Sings all my cares away,
Sings all my cares away.
Singing all my cares away,
Sing all my cares away.
Loving all my cares away,
She sings all my cares away.
Singing all my cares away,
Singing all my cares away. -Donovan"
May Madness
reigns amongst the faery world about, above and around
and is he
ard their sound
as leaves float down and cold winds sweep across the land.

But one is still and looking last on flowery bloom
That will not stand against the frosty blast, that is winter,
From the Autumn morning mist -
Floating down amongst t he leaves
amongst the orange browns and yellows
I see their eye shine and hear their laughter...
Back again why would i doubt it...
When have they ever stayed away...
Sometimes i am blinded by my own busyness
And i forget and therefore d o not see...
But of late in autumn cool, I feel them first
Then see them tumble...across the grass
Amongst the leaves of Autumn falling
The faeries come again.
An Autumn Quick Whipped up Faery Cat
chup.
A bit of fun with pen and ink,
The faeries come and stop to drink
From thoughts that fly from them to me
From me to them the thoughts fly free
As autumn comes accross the land
The sun has now a gentler hand
The light is soft, the sky is low
The faeries fly up to my window.
And if I see or if I am blind
Matters not to them for they don't mind
The things of earth that plod like me
For they are of light and must fly free
Its just enough for me to quietly gaze
On lighted coulour in sunset haze
The moon is full the days are hot...
faeries gather.
The sky is blue the clouds are gone...
No one knows where they come from.

In autumn mild and forest wild the faeries laugh with human child.
A Faery
wand that crosses the sea, from ages past
has now been found by me and mine at last at last.
Made of gold from in the Earth, and precious jewels of sacred worth
From hand to hand and time to time...
I hold the wand for now tis mine.
Tis mine to hold and hold up high... and guard the shore and guard the sky.
And when I am done, my life no more...the wand will pass on and on to more and more
They gather now with eyes that shine and see and care..
for what is one wand held in my handbecomes a host and holds the land.
A day of tears and hard to face the town
...not far from howling at
the moon...
but music heard and sunset seen. these faeries came and eased the gloom...
How they know just when to come...and when they know to move along...
without their help; their light and laughter...
I think the nights would pull me under.
In time the two - male and female become the one
In light of moon,
in haze of sky...
these faeries ask not what nor ask not why...
it is just what and it is just how...
the faeries male and female,
are one right now
Dark Sky FaeriesLast night was cool and sweet and dark. Under the Southern Cross, nothing stirred but a soft perfume laden air - Spring is here.
At times like this and skies bejewelled with midnight blue and diamond points of light all glimmering in all colours of the rainbow...
the dark sky faeries can be seen...but only with the eyes half shut and dropping all expectation of what should be there, seeing what is there - and once seen never forgotten.
